The CES-RNQ's function is to give a scientific evaluation of all projects involving human or animal subjects carried out by RNQ members using the technical platform of either the UNF or the CHUM. The CES-RNQ works with the CMER-RNQ to garantee this latter the scientific quality required to evaluate the ethical dimension of a project. The CES-RNQ's mandate is to ascertain the validity and scientific value of the research projects as well as their relevance. It also ensures the investigator's ability to carry out the project.
